Though it does not have any built-in microphones the Tascom DR-60D would seem a good choice for a 4-track recorder for filmmakers, with its two XLR inputs and a stereo 3.5mm input.

It is available from many sources for around $150 (B&H has it for $145), which makes it fairly competitive with other options such as the DR-40 and Zooms.
