Sony Vegas: Exporting to YouTube

People keep asking me about what export settings I use when I send content to YouTube. While I covered a more methodical approach in "Episode Workflow", I recently stumbled across a free plugin that removes all the heavy lifting, analyzes your project, and sends it away based on your quality selection. The good news is (besides being free), Video4YouTube renders faster and creates a smaller file than the old method.

I'm betting it doesn't apply the ComputerRGBToStudioRGB filter. I think that filter also needs to be applied before rendering to MP4, so, it would be great if it did.

Thanks for posting this. I'm going to give this extension a shot (I've never used extensions with Vegas). Render times are largely dependent on processor speed and RAM, so it'll be interesting to see just how much this improves my workflow. Anything is a plus, I say. ;)
