Cell Phone Slate



A very cool app on the iPhone is Movie Slate, an animated clapper board that appears on your phone. You add all the scene information then hold it up in front of the lens to mark your shot. I wanted something similar without having to buy an iPhone or iPod Touch. Here's what I came up with.

I understand your disgruntlement. Up until this past Christmas, I had a phone that was as old as the hills. It's good that you had one that could serve you in production. The only thing I used my old phone for in the field was timing out shots.

Hopefully by now you have something even better than your Palm Centro.
